(a) A solution was made by dissolving 14.00 g of an impure sample of potassium hydroxide to make 100.00 cm3.The solution was then titrated against 1.2500 M nitric acid solution.If 40.00 cm3 of the acid solution required 25.00 cm3 of the alkali solution for complete neutralization,work out the percentage purity of the potassium hydroxide sample.
(b) How many moles of nitrogen gas would react with excess hydrogen gas to produce 2.24dm3 of ammonia gas at STP?
(c) A 25cm3 of a molar solution of sodium hydroxide is added to 85cm3 , calculate the concentration of the solution after dilution (live your answer in two decimal places).
